Tiles Porcelain on Grand Designs: The Street

Products from Tilesporcelain featured in a recent episode of Grand Designs: The Street, on Chanel Four. The series focuses on Britain’s biggest ever self-build project and in this particular episode it highlighted Terry and Olwen’s story, as they created a bespoke property from scratch. White Cladding, Blue Quartz and Silver Emperador Marble Tiles from the Tilesporcelain collection were all used in the creation of this stunning design.

Rock Panel White Cladding

Rock Panel White Cladding was chosen for the exterior walls of the property, offering a fresh and stylish entrance. It matches superbly with the blue roof and wood panelling. The white cladding has also been used for the interior of the property too, as part of the feature wall fireplace. White cladding has a randomised brick style and rugged texture and is available in panels which are easy to install to walls. As you can see from this project, it is suitable for both interior and exterior designs.

Black Quartz Tiles

Throughout the interior living area, our Blue Quartz Tiles have been used to great effect on the floor. They complement the white cladding feature wall extremely well and produce a sparkly look. The blue colour adds a dynamic feel and is well suited to this contemporary self-build home. Quartz tiles have the required durability to withstand high levels of foot traffic.

Silver Emperador Marble Tiles

In the upstairs bathroom, our Silver Emperador Marble Tiles have been used on the wall. These tiles provide a timeless character and have the trademark veined marble style which makes them perfect for feature walls. Within this bathroom design, these Silver Emperador Marble Tiles have been complemented by a blue quartz bath surround. This design is a great example of how both natural stone and sparkly quartz can work as a great style combination.
