Protect your tile grout from the damage caused by moisture, dirt, oil, grease and limescale with this quick drying, spray-on formula. Easy to use Grout and tile protector creates an impermeable barrier on otherwise porous grout lines. Colourless and odourless grout protector will also reduce the time you spend cleaning and maintaining bathroom and kitchen surfaces. This long lasting solution is suitable for grout lines between both natural stone and manmade tiles.
Natural stone tiles like travertine, marble, granite and limestone should be sealed with a suitable liquid impregnator and left to dry before applying this grout protector to grout lines for added resilience. With regards to manmade porcelain and ceramic the walls and floors simply require cleaning before spraying this protective solution onto grout. Grout and tile protector is also suitable for outdoor areas where it can be used for garden patios and pond surrounds
Newly grouted areas should be left for 20-30 minutes before this protective formula is applied. Mould and mildew should be removed from old grout first before spraying on a protective layer. Always test the protector on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it is compatible with the substrate. This product should be used in well ventilated areas
Directions: Shake can well before use and spray on to the surface from a distance of 15-20 cm. In standard bathroom and kitchen areas the formula should be allowed to cure for 2-3 hours before allowing foot traffic. In areas particularly prone to the build up of damp and mould like wet rooms and shower areas, surfaces should be left to cure for 24 hours. You can test the area with the application of a small amount of clean water. It is also recommended that you mask and protect surrounding wooden and acrylic surfaces before using this protective formula
